Families Settle Suit Over Deaths in Baltimore Bridge Collapse


The families of five of the six men who were killed when a cargo ship crashed into the Key Bridge two years ago announced on Thursday that they had reached legal settlements with the owner and the operator of the ship. News of the settlements came just days before the start of a civil trial in federal court in Baltimore to determine the liability of the ship’s owner, Grace Ocean, and its operator, Synergy Marine, in the accident.
