Two lorry drivers killed in crash


Two men have died after two lorries crashed on a major road in Lincolnshire. The collision, which involved a Volvo and Scania lorry, happened near the Snitterby junction on the A15 north of Caenby Corner at about 09:30 GMT, Lincolnshire Police said.

Tens of thousand of homes could be without water until the weekend, says Southern Water


Almost 60,000 homes across Hampshire are without water because of a “technical issue” at a Southern Water supply works, the company has said. Homes in Southampton, Romsey, Eastleigh, Totton, and parts of the New Forest have been affected by problems at the Testwood water supply works preventing water from leaving the site.

Andrew will not join royals for Christmas at Sandringham


The Duke of York will not join the rest of the Royal Family for the traditional Christmas gathering in Sandringham, royal sources have told the BBC. It is expected that Prince Andrew will “honourably withdraw” from Royal Family events at Christmas to avoid being a distraction.
