‘Second-busiest’ UK airport remains the worst for flight delays – see full list


Gatwick Airport has been dubbed the UK’s worst for flight delays, with departures from the West Sussex hub being more than 23 minutes behind schedule on average in 2024. This is according to an analysis of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) data by PA news agency.

West London teacher who tried to teach class drunk and crashed car with child banned for five years


Ms Alexandra Zbanca, 41, was found to be ‘under the influence of alcohol whilst at work’ and was convicted of a drink-driving incident with a child in the car, according to documents from a Teaching Regulation Agency tribunal hearing, the results of which were published last month.
